The Peninsula BlackBird II Portable barcode reader allows you to read barcodes anywhere, powered by rechargeable batteries you can take the BlackBird II anywhere you wish.

When you have finished collecting your barcodes this barcode scanner connects to your PC or Macintosh via the RS232 Serial or USB port (All cables supplied). You then download the barcodes to our software utility(included) to a csv file for importing into your application, thousands of applications are supported including Excel, Access, 4D, Filemaker and many more.

The Blackbird II is easy to set up, simply turn on and start scanning, can read all common barcode types, ie EAN13, UPC, Code39, Code 128 and many others including specialist codes such as Code 32.

The BlackBird II can use rechargable or standard AA batteries. You can recharge the batteries in the scanner or remove them to charge elsewhere.
