The Peninsula Gull mobile barcode reader system is a complete mobile barcode reading terminal, with built in Palm OS operating system. The Gull is 100% compatible with all Palm applications and barcodes can be scanned into any open application on the Gull.
It comes complete with all software required, an application QuickTrack Mobile for the Gull.
Conduits to allow communication with the computer and QuickTrack Pro (complete professional barcode Asset, Item and Lending tracking system), for both Windows and OSX.
The Gull is easy to set up, all software is preloaded on the device and automatically backed up when the Palm Desktop software is installed on the computer.
The Gull is rechargeable and ruggedised, no trigger is required to start scanning, just point and it will automatically scan a barcode in range.
The built in engine reads all common 1D barcode types.
Then as a final note it reads RSS 14 barcodes, even decoding the composite RSS codes that other barcode scanners find so difficult.

What does 'IP67' mean?
IP stands for 'Ingress Protection'
An IP number is used to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.
The IP number is composed of two numbers, the first referring to the protection against solid objects and the second against liquids. The higher the number, the better the protection.
Note: All Gull devices are manufactured and tested to IP67 standards.
A rating of 67 means:
6 - Totally protected against dust.
7 - Protected against the effect of immersion between 15cm and 1m.
